Market Documentation

In February 2012, NZFMA took over from the NZ Bankers' Association as the industry body responsible for maintaining market standard derivatives documentation for over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives in New Zealand.  The two organisations agreed to this shift of responsibility because the broader membership base of NZFMA means its membership is more representative of the principal users of OTC derivatives in New Zealand than the NZBA's membership.

NZFMA have partnered with Buddle Findlay to provide this market documentation service, and it is anticipated that this site will be further developed over time by the addition of further standard documents, user guides and legal opinions in response to the needs of members.
